Celebrate Summer Solstice with us!
On the longest day of the year, make it count by donating $15 for 15 hours of sunshine to bring the healing power of play to children with medical needs.
Project Sunshine brings the healing power of play to 250,000 children facing medical challenges each year through the partnership of more than 500 hospital and nonprofit partners throughout the country.
Help Us Deliver the Healing Power of Play
Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year. It marks the point when the sun is at its highest peak in the sky—spreading light and opportunity for new beginnings. That's why we are embracing Summer Solstice to raise awareness about the healing power of play.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, play is one of the most effective methods of reducing stress in kids, allowing their bodies to heal. For children facing medical challenges who are faced with countless stressful circumstances during their treatment and recovery, play and creative expression can ease stress and anxiety.
Your contribution today will help Project Sunshine deliver play-based programming to children in hospitals or at home with a chronic illness to help their bodies and minds heal.
